"My daughter and I are so lucky to have been paired with Rachelle for speech therapy. Rachelle’s laid back, friendly disposition put us both at ease from the very first moment we met her in the waiting room.
We started working with Rachelle shortly after my daughter’s third birthday, as her teachers and family were having trouble understanding what she was saying. She had the words, but her speech often sounded mumbled. After maybe three sessions, my daughter’s speech was vastly improved, as something just ‘clicked’ with the tactics Rachelle gave her.
As a mom, I like Rachelle’s personality. But I’m not really the important one - my daughter looked forward to seeing Rachelle each week and talked about her all the time. It’s been 8 months since she finished her therapy, but she still loves talking about Rachelle! When I asked her what her favorite part was, she said “the fish game.” Rachelle always knew just how to engage my daughter to make her sessions fun and productive." - Deborah

"When Leah was around 10 months old, we knew it was time to move onto solid foods and off of purées. Since she had no issues moving through the "stages" of baby food, we didn't think it would be a problem. Unfortunately, it was. Gagging, spitting out and vomiting became a part of mealtime; it was very disheartening. Our pediatrician recommended a feeding specialist, which made us very nervous. Fortunately, I was able to work with Rachelle right away to get Leah on track!

Rachelle is very knowledgeable, down to earth and helpful. From her professionalism gained through her career and her own experience as a mom, she gives priceless advice. She explained to us what to expect in the feeding process and transition, and gave step-by-step instructions on how to get there. Even though we were a bit skeptical and extremely anxious, we followed Rachelle's advice and within days, we saw a huge difference. Leah began to break down different foods and actually enjoyed mealtime! Eventually, we moved onto even "harder" textures, and she did great. It was a huge relief.

While working with Rachelle, we appreciate that she is readily available to help. I am able to reach out at all times and receive sound advice to help Leah. Besides transitioning to solids, she also helped us with recipes, and helping Leah learn to drink from a straw. I'm so happy (and relieved) that she assisted us in overcoming this obstacle, and I highly recommend her service to anyone!” - Melissa

“Rachelle is an amazing speech and language therapist. She is amazingly creative and devoted to making the work of learning accessible for children to whom it doesn’t come naturally. She takes it all in stride, never losing her cool and always finding new and more exciting ways to connect with the children. She’s wonderful!” - Peri
